Walking Barefoot In Maui

Imagine, walking barefoot in Maui on one of its most beautiful beaches, with the perfect temperature, breeze, ocean mist and loved one by your side.

Sound like paradise?

Yes, it does to us too.

One reason we walk barefoot in Maui is that one of our boys has taken our sandals captive for "necessary" sand tools.

Not quite the picturesque scene, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Being in such an amazing place with our family is more fun than we could ever imagine!

And when we say family, we mean our extended family is growing so quickly we add new people and more chaos to each trip than is legally allowed.

Palm Tree on Maui Beach
Our fourth Maui vacation during December 2006-January 2007 was thoroughly enjoyed by two grandparents, five siblings, 4 spouses and eight kids--ages seven and under.

Be one of the first to take a peek at our most recent pages we've posted since returning from our latest Maui vacation:
Nakalele Blowhole,
Dragon's Teeth,
West Maui Drive,
Iao Needle,
Polipoli State Park,
Surfing In Maui,
Maui Whale Watching,
Mama's Fish House,
Scuba Dive Maui (first dive), and
Scuba Dive Maui 2 (second dive).

In Maui there are so many places to see and adventures to experience that you will always find at least one if not several new activities on every trip. And it's also fun to doing some of the same activities you enjoyed doing on your last visit.

After doing some research we decided to put together a Maui Activities Wish List that highlights some activities we would like to do but haven't done before.

Maui Fun Facts

Do you like trivia games? We put together perhaps two of the best: Maui Trivia and Maui Trivia II. They include questions like, "Which of the following are considered Spanish influences found today in Maui and the Hawaiian Islands?" Or, "True or False: Some large volcanic rocks in Maui make the sound of a bell when struck." Go to our Maui Fun Facts page, click on the Maui Trivia and Maui Trivia II links to print and play them, and get the answers to the questions above. Have fun!

Whether you're spending your honeymoon here or vacationing with friends and family, throughout the site you'll find our best tips, travel advice and a funny family story or two from our vacations to Maui over the past 9 years, including:
