Maui Film Festival June 13-17, 2007 in its 8th year, takes place every June in a variety of screening venues in Wailea and nearby Kahului.
Nakamehamea Parade and Hoolaulea Saturday, June 16, 2007. A colorful Pau Parade through LahainaTown at 10:00 am features riders on horses decorated with exotic island flowers representing each of the eight major islands. The community parade includes marching bands, floats and more, all honoring King Kamehameha the Great's families. An awards ceremony and festival take place at Banyan Tree Park with island food, arts and crafts and Hawaiian entertainment. 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Free admission.
Kapalua Clambake Pro-Am Golf Tournament June 22-24, 2007. The Kapalua Resort's Bay, Village and Plantation Courses share the challenge for this 21st annual pro-am event. Highlights include awards ceremony and a Clambake Feast at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua. For more information call (808) 669-8802.
