84th Maui County Fair
September 28 – October 1, 2006 at 211 Kanaloa Avenue, Wailuku (the War Memorial Gymnasium parking lot). The Fair is a nonprofit organization supported entirely by corporate sponsorship, local donations, and volunteers. The Fair is also theprimary source of funding for many of Maui’s nonprofit and communityorganizations. Aloha Festivals Ho’olaule’a Block Party
Saturday, October 7, 2006. This signature Aloha Festivals event in Lahaina features Maui's Royal Court, Hawaiian food, island arts and crafts on display and for sale. Enjoy the block party with Hawaiian music and dance along Front Street in the evening. Free admission. Times TBA. See alohafestivals.com.

Aloha Team Classic
October 17 – 22, 2006 at the Kapalua Resort. Beyond the Rainbow Foundation helps Maui’s youth realize the promise of their future. Join us for this premier golfing event where you will have the unique opportunity to vacation in Maui while you also having some fun competition against teams from around the country, with each team consisting of four amateurs. Joey Arias Strange Fruit
Thursday, October 19, 2006 at 7:30 pm, McCoy Studio Theater. Presented by Manhattan Mama’s Coconut Cabaret. The phenomenal Joey Arias, currently performing with Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas, will grace the stage with his amazing presence, channeling the voice of Billie Holliday and a personality all his own. An Evening of Stars III Masquerade Ball
Saturday, October 21, 2006 5:30 pm to 11:00 pm at the Iao Theater in Wailuku, 21 and older only. You don't want to miss the scariest house on this side of Transylvania! Plus, cocktails, live music, outdoor chef's dinner, theatrical entertainment, prizes and surprizes, costumes or evening attire (masks for sale at the event). Halloween In Lahaina
Tuesday, October 31, 2006. The Legend of Halloween, celebrated since 1990, is more than just a night on the town in costume! Over 30,000 revelers come to Front Street on Halloween night, which is closed to vehicle traffic from 3:00 pm to midnight. Annual children's costume parade down Front Street at 5:00 pm kicks-off the evening. Other features are crafters, activities and food booths, live music and dancing. LahainaTown sponsors The Maui Tacos Halloween Costume Contest in Banyan Tree Park that begins at 7:00 pm. Restaurants and retail merchants offer costume contests throughout the evening. Shopping centers feature Haunted Houses for kids during the week.

Halloween Cruise to Lahaina
October 31, 2006. Avoid the traffic goblins and parking gremlins with Pacific Whale Foundation's Halloween Cruise to Lahaina. Park your car at the spacious lot at the Harbor Shops at Maalaea and cruise to the Halloween festivities in Lahaina aboard Pacific Whale Foundation's boat.
